President’s Message

Aloha, On August 15, 2009, we celebrated our 50^th Anniversary at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel. It was a grand evening with chapter exhibitions and a special performance by our instructors of the Hawaii Ballroom Dance Association. The dance floor was the largest ever in the history of the Hawaii Ballroom Dance Association. The dance floor easily accommodated the 600 people in attendance. Excitement, smiles and laughter filled the ballroom throughout the night. A special “Aloha No” to Benny and Faith Agbayani, Dance Director and Assistant Dance Director. They have guided the Hawaii Ballroom Dance Association successfully in accordance with our founders, Eugene and Harriet Ichinose. I personally thank all in attendance on this special night.
